We begin with a conversation.  That conversation leads us to emotions which will lay the groundwork for a portrait to be taken. The beauty is already there, I just help us find a comfortable space to allow it to shine through.

Portrait work is some of the most intimate and personal work that exists in photography in my opinion. It takes time and patience to find the emotion and expression that can tell your story. The goal is not to force anything, but to seek the truth.
